Manchester Schools Shift To Remote Instruction Due To Storm

The district said the remote instruction applies to vocational students as well.

MANCHESTER, NJ — All schools in the Manchester Township School District will be on remote instruction Monday due to the winter storm forecast, the district said Sunday.

Gov. Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency that begins at 7 p.m. Sunday due to the storm, which is forecast to bring 4 to 6 inches of snow to the Manchester area. Read more: NJ Weather: State Of Emergency, Vaccine Changes For NJ Nor'easter

There will be no in-person instruction, including for vocational school students.

The district had been fully remote last week due to internet issues and had expected to return to hybrid instruction Monday until the storm forecast worsened.
