Manchester Softball All-Stars Honored By Mayor, Council

The girls won the 10- and 11-year-old state championship in August.

Manchester Township officials took time Tuesday night to honor the members of the Manchester Township Little League girls softball team that won the state championship for 10- and 11-year-olds.

The girls won the title during the summer Little League All-Star season, defeating West Windsor 8-7 in the championship game.

Manchester Mayor Ken Palmer (right) and the Township Council presented certificates of congratulations to the girls at the meeting, and announced that sign highlighting their achievement will be placed in the township.
