Manchester's A'Liah Moore Contributing To Monmouth Women's Soccer

The top scorer in Manchester girls soccer history scored the winning goal for Monmouth on Saturday.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township's all-time leading scorer, A'Liah Moore, has been making her mark as a freshman at Monmouth University, where she scored the winning goal in a recent game.

Moore scored the winning goal in the Hawks' victory over Quinnipiac on Saturday, where Monmouth won 7-1 at the Hawks' home field in West Long Branch.

Moore was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Manchester and set the school scoring record with 181 points on 86 goals and 45 assists. She helped the Hawks win bids to the Shore Conference Tournament three times and they earned three berths in the NJSIAA tournament.

Moore has three goals and an assist in 268 minutes played for Monmouth this year. She had two goals in Monmouth's 9-0 win over St. Peter's on Sept. 22. Monmouth is 10-3-1 so far this season.
