16th ANNUAL FALL GARDEN DAY

Rutgers Master Gardeners of Ocean County are hosting their Fall Garden Day on Friday, September 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Rutgers Cooperative Extension building located at 1623 Whitesville Road, Toms River, NJ. This free event, "The Good Earth...The Good Life", will include informative presentations and demonstrations on Attracting Hummingbirds and Butterflies to Your Garden, Love That Bug: Beneficial Insects in the Home Garden, Seashore Gardening, Recycling in the Garden, Hydroponic Gardening and Composting with Worms. Be sure to take the guided tour of the display garden following the main presentations. The event will include light refreshments and door prizes. Ample parking is available. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to local food pantries. Come learn how to improve your life by bettering our earth.
