NJ Nor'easter Impact: 13" Of Snow, 60-MPH Winds, Downed Trees

What a crazy storm this has been. Or as it's been called: a "bomb cyclone" nor'easter.
Just as we speak, there is probably another report of a tree or poll falling down because of the 60-mph wind gusts that this storm has produced. More than 100,000 were without power in New Jersey Friday afternoon.
On top of that, winter weather advisories have expanded to areas that weren't supposed to get any snow at all. And 13 inches – 13 inches! – fell in some areas of New Jersey.

Road Closed For Downed Tree In Moorestown
North Church Street is closed between Maple Avenue and Flynn Avenue becuase of a downed tree that collapsed onto power wires, the Moorestown Police Department said Friday afternoon. The Department of Public Works and PSE&G are on location. Drivers are urged to avoid this area. Read more here...

Several Downed Trees, Poles On Roads In South Brunswick
It's the March storm that won't quit. Friday's nor'easter winds have now taken down multiple trees and a telephone pole in South Brunswick Township, police announced. Georges Road by Crossroads North Middle School is closed as of 3 p.m. Friday afternoon due to a tree in the roadway. Read more here...

Power Outages, Road Closures In Greater Morristown Area
Multiple roads are closed and hundreds of homes are without power in the greater Morristown area. Woodland Ave is closed in the area of Symor Drive, Morris Twp police said. Mendham Road is closed near Kahdena Road, and near Old Mendham Road. Multiple side roads in the area are also closed, and police say closure reports are continuing to come in. Read more here...

Division Avenue Closed In New Providence
Division Avenue in New Providence is currently closed in between Mountain Avenue and Tall Oaks Drive Friday, police announced around 3:30 p.m. Additionally in Mountainside, New Providence Road between Deer Path and Central Ave is closed due to a fallen tree with power lines down.
