Prom Dress & Tuxedo Drive

It is approaching that wonderful time of year: Spring Dance Season. Ocean County Library hosts a Prom Dress and Tuxedo Giveaway every Spring. Proms are expensive and not every teen has the ability to purchase formal attire. Please look into your closet and consider donating a formal dress or tuxedo and give a student in need the opportunity to join their friends at a memorable Spring Dance.

We are collecting NEW, CLEAN & GENTLY USED: Teen styled Prom, Party Dresses, Evening Gowns and Tuxedos. Prom dresses in all sizes from 0 to 30 are needed.
Please note we can only accept:

· New and gently-used, prom-appropriate dresses that are modern (2005+).

· Please do not donate casual and matronly attire.

· We especially need larger size gowns.

· We are also accepting formal tuxedos, but not men's suits.

· Check your dress for signs of irrevocable wear and tear, all clothes should be in good condition.

· Dry cleaned donations are especially appreciated.

~Donations will be accepted at ALL branches thru April 6th.
