Sam Hunt sneakbox on display at Albert Hall Sept. 28th!!
Legendary sneakbox builder Sam Hunt will be honored with a special show dedicated to his memory Sept. 28. Sammy was an original member of the Pineconers and one of the areas most famous baymen. A special exhibit will be set up in the pickin shed showcasing some of the items from the PCS archives including a sneakbox, furniture and a banjo all hand built by Sam. There will also be photos, newspaper articles, story boards and videos on display. Inside the hall a video of Sammy will be shown at 6:45, music to follow 7:30-11pm. Doors open at 6pm. The exhibit is free and admission to the Hall is only $5.00. Snack bar and gift shop will be open.
