Bride's Father On Life Support After Hit By Car In Manville

MANVILLE, NJ — A Manville man and bride's father is on life support after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Main Street in the borough on Monday.
Andrzej Borzedowski, 53, was hit by a vehicle on Nov. 26 around 6 p.m. while in a crosswalk and transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, Manville Police reported.
He "suffered severe head trauma as a result, is on life support and was given no chance of survival," according to GoFundMe account set up for his family.

Borzedowski immigrated from Poland and had plans of attending his daughter Monika's wedding in June in Poland.
"Andrzej is a good-hearted, humble, mild-mannered, hard-working and loyal man. We are all devastated by this tragedy," according to GoFundMe account. "The purpose of this fundraiser is to help support Andrzej family with mounting medical, legal and memorial service expenses. Any little helps and it much appreciated."

The fundraiser has already raised $210 in one hour since being posted of the $15,000 goal.
No charges have been filed in connection with the crash, which remains under investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.
