Election Day 2019: Everything Manville Needs To Know

MANVILLE, NJ — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in Manville. There are a number of races on the ballot in Manville this November, including the mayor, borough council and school board.

Here is everything you need to know about Election Day in your town:

What will be on my ballot?

There is a contested mayoral race with two candidates vying for the top spot including Republican incumbent Richard M. Onderko and Democrat challenger Philip E. Petrone.

The council race is also contested with four candidates running for two open three-year township committee seat. Borough Council candidates include Democrats Roberta G. Walters and incumbent Ronald Skirkanish and Republicans Ted Petrock III and Suzanne Maeder.

The school board also has contested race with five candidates vying for the three open three-year seats including Josephine T. Pschar, Kristen Gall, Sharon Lukac, Kelly Harabin, Jennifer Esposito.

Residents will also vote on their two representatives in the New Jersey State Assembly District 16. Democratic incumbents Andrew Zwicker and Roy Freiman are running against Republican challengers Mark Caliguire and Christine Madrid.

The Sheriff seat is also up for grabs with Democrat Darrin Russo and Republican William "Bill" Parenti both vying for the seat.

One seat on the Board of Chosen Freeholders is up for election. Republican incumbent Patricia L. "Pat" Walsh is running against Democrat challenger Melonie Marano.

Where do I vote?

Your polling place is included on a sample ballot mailed out to all registered voters. If you're still not sure, or you misplaced that sample ballot, you can look up your polling location on the Somerset County Election Division's website.

When can I vote?

Election Day 2019 is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
