First Habitat ReStore In Somerset County To Open Friday

Funds raised from the store will be used to build homes for local low- and moderate-income individuals and families.

MANVILLE, NJ — The first Habitat ReStore in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties is having a Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27.

The ribbon cutting will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at its location in the Marketplace at Manville, at 110 North Main St. in Manville.

The Habitat ReStore sells furniture, houseware, glassware, artwork, pottery, vases, lamps, jewelry, and many other items at bargain prices.

Funds raised will be used to build homes for local low- and moderate-income individuals and families that are willing to work alongside volunteers to build simple, decent, and affordable places to live.

The public can also donate gently used items and shop for bargains while helping to transform lives.

Anyone with items to donate is invited to drop them off at the Habitat Restore on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pick up service for furniture, kitchen cabinets, appliances, and other large items is available, and may be arranged by sending a photo to restoredonations@rvhabitat.org.
