Heroin, Crack Cocaine Dealer Busted In Manville

MANVILLE, NJ — A heroin and crack cocaine drug dealer was arrested in Manville following a three-week investigation, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation into the sale of heroin and crack cocaine by Arthur N. Green, 60, of N Weiss Street, Manville.

On July 26 at around 8 p.m. members of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force, along with members of the Manville Police Department staked out Green’s home and saw him riding on his bicycle.

Green was stopped and found to be in possession of 35 bags of heroin, one bag of crack cocaine, one bag of marijuana, five assorted prescription pills and narcotic paraphernalia. The estimated street value of the narcotics seized by Task Force members was about $400, Robertson said.

Task Force Members then searched Green’s home where they found drug paraphernalia, according to the report.

Green was arrested and charged with third-degree distribution of heroin, third-degree possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) (heroin), third-degree possession of CDS (crack cocaine), disorderly person offense of possession of CDS (marijuana), and disorderly persons offense of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was later lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
