Knife, Golf Club Threatened During Fight Between Manville Parents
One of the Manville parents was charged after they got into an altercation regarding a bullying incident at school, Manville Police said.

MANVILLE, NJ — A Manville woman was arrested after two borough parents got into a fight where a knife and golf club were shown over a bullying incident at school, police said.
The two Manville parents got into an altercation on Wednesday night, Manville Lt. Detective John Crater said.
During the fight, a 17-year-old son of one of the parents grabbed a golf club to defend his mother's honor, Crater said.

The other parent, identified as Melissa Maldonado, 34, armed herself with a knife and began taunting and chasing the teen. The teen fell to the ground at one point, but Maldonado made no effort to harm him, Crater said.
Manville Police were called to the scene and consulted with the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. Maldonado was then charged with disorderly conduct for engaging in fighting behavior.
