Manville Hit Again: 35 Cars Have Tires Slashed Overnight
This is the second time Manville residents had their car tires slashed in the past 7 weeks. Previously 40 cars were slashed and 1 burned.

MANVILLE, NJ — Manville residents have once again woken up to find their car tires slashed on Thursday.
"We are looking at approximately 35 cars," Manville Police Chief Mark A. Peltack said.
The crime occurred overnight on Green and Bleecher streets between North 13th Avenue and North 9th Avenue. overnight, Peltack said.

One or two of the cars hit were repeat victims of this crime as this is the second time Manville residents had their car tires slashed in the past seven weeks.

On June 11 between 2 and 4 a.m. one car was reportedly burned and the tires of 40 parked cars were slashed in the North West sections of Manville particularly between North 7th Avenue and North 13th Avenue.
Manville Officers are still out investigating as of 11 a.m. Thursday.
Peltack asked residents with information or video cameras that could possibly have evidence on it to contact the Manville Police Department at 908-725-7677.
