Manville Man ID'd As Fatal Victim Hit By Train
Manville Police had been called out to the Lehigh Valley Railroad tracks near 10 South Street on a report of a man screaming on April 11.
MANVILLE, NJ — A borough man was identified as the person fatally hit by a train on April 11.
Manville Police identified the man as Frederick W. Boseman, 53, of Manville who was a long-time borough resident, Manville Lt. John Crater said.
On April 11 at around 8:51 p.m. Manville Police were called out to the Lehigh Valley Railroad tracks near 10 South Street on a report of a man screaming, Crater said.

When police arrived they found Boseman dead on the railroad tracks, Crater said.
Boseman had been hit by a Northfolk Southern train traveling west from Jersey City to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The incident is not considered suspicious, although an investigation is active and continuing.
