MANVILLE, NJ — Meet Beaux! He has been chosen as Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet for Manville's Pet of the Week and winners receive a free bag of pet food from Amwell Pet Supply.

"I wanted to submit our dog Beaux for the pet of the week. This May he turned 10 years old. My wife rescued him as a puppy here in New Jersey before we met. Her and I first met through a dating website where she had a picture of herself with Beaux.

I had to strike up a conversation after seeing the two of them together. I guess you could say he's partially responsible for how wonderful our life is together. His favorite thing to do is go for walks around Hillsborough and Round Valley Reservoir and stop at Polar Cub for a little ice cream on the way. He's been a huge part of our lives these past 10 years and we love him more than words can describe."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Manville Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
