Pennsylvania Woman Charged With Prostitution In Manville

A Pennsylvania woman allegedly propositioned an undercover officer with a sexual act​ in exchange for cash in Manville, authorities report.

MANVILLE, NJ — A Pennsylvania woman was arrested and charged with propositioning an undercover officer with a sexual act in exchange for cash in Manville, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.

Tatyana A. Hines, 23, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was charged with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly persons offense (out of the Hillsborough-Montgomery Municipal Court).

Hines was arrested following an investigation that began after several concerned citizens reported drug trafficking and prostitution happening within an adult entertainment club, located on South Street, in Manville, Robertson said.

A Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office undercover detective went into the adult entertainment lounge and met with Hines. During the meeting,Hines propositioned the undercover officer with a sexual act, in exchange for cash, Robertson said.

Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force , along with members of the Manville Police Department, then went into the adult entertainment lounge and arrested Hines on May 4 at about 11:30 p.m.

Hines was later processed and released on her own recognizance, pending an appearance in Municipal Court.
