Pickup Truck Crashes Into Manville River, Charged With DWI: Cops
The driver was charged with driving while intoxicated after he drove off the road, crashed into a tree and stopped in the Royce Brook.

MANVILLE, NJ — A Hillsborough driver was charged with driving while intoxicated after he drove off the roadway, crashed into a tree and stopped in the Royce Brook River in Manville on Saturday.
At around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday Timothy Kyc, 53, of Hillsborough was driving a 2020 GMC Denali Duramax Pickup towards Main Street when it jumped the curb and went north at a high rate of speed through the Khusboo Palace Parking Lot," Manville Police Lt. John Crater said.
The truck then crashed through a guardrail, hit a tree, and came to a rest in the Royce Brook River in the area of South Main Street and Wilhousky Street, Crater said.

Kyc was able to get out of the vehicle and make his way to the bank. He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and observation, Crater said.
Kyc was charged with reckless driving and driving while intoxicated. His pickup truck was removed by Tripoli Towing and Transport Service.
