Video Shows Man Wanted For Slashing Tires On 40 Cars In Manville
The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office released a video showing a suspect slashing tires and are offering a reward for help to find him.
MANVILLE, NJ — Authorities have released a video showing a man slashing tires on a car in Manville in June in hopes of identifying him. A $500 reward is also being offered for information leading to the arrest.
The crimes occurred on June 11 between 2 and 4 a.m. when one car was reportedly burned and the tires of 40 parked cars were slashed in Manville, Borough Police Chief Mark A. Peltack said.
The cars were parked in the North West sections of Manville Borough particularly between North 7th Avenue and North 13th Avenue.

Video surveillance footage found by Manville Police shows a suspect slashing the tires of a car parked in the borough. The video was released by Somerset County Prosecutor Michael Robertson.
The suspect can be described as a Caucasian man, wearing a light-colored hooded jacket, Robertson said.
