Woman Arrested For Robbing Another At Gunpoint In Manville Lot

MANVILLE, NJ — A Manville woman was arrested and charged with robbing another woman at gunpoint in the parking of a borough business, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.

Jennifer Mingle, 35, of North 7th Avenue was charged with first-degree armed robbery and fourth-degree possession of an imitation firearm for an unlawful purpose.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18 at around 5:08 p.m., a 23-year old woman reported being robbed at gunpoint by an unknown female in the Market Place parking lot in Manville.

The victim provided a description of the alleged robber who had forcibly robbed her. After reviewing surveillance footage, the Manville Police Department identified Mingle as the person who committed the armed robbery, according to the report.

On Sunday, Mingle was located and arrested by the Manville Police Department without incident. Mingle was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
