Author To Discuss 'Cooking and Coping' in Maplewood
Ethical Culture Society of Essex County will host free event featuring Laura Zinn Fromm.
Journalist and author Laura Zinn Fromm will discuss and read from her new book, “Sweet Survival: Tales of Cooking and Coping,” at the Ethical Culture Society of Essex County, 516 Prospect St., on Sunday, April 5, at 11:30 a.m.
The book is a collection of essays that combines memoir and cookbook, and is an “account of trying to find comfort in a family fraught with mental illness,” according to a release.
There is no charge for the event. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
