Celtic Christmas Show Comes to SOPAC
Cherish the Ladies, takes the SOPAC stage with their Celtic Christmas' program Thursday, Dec. 5

Cherish the Ladies, an Irish-American, all-female quintet, will be performing a Celtic Christmas show this Thursday at the South Orange Performing Arts Center.
The show features special guest vocalist Cathie Ryan and world champion Irish dancers, including alums of Riverdance and tours with The Chieftains.
The performance will be held Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at SOPAC, located at One SOPAC Way in South Orange. Tickets range from $25 to $48.

“One of the most engaging and successful ensembles in the history of Celtic music, Cherish The Ladies have shared timeless Irish traditions with audiences worldwide for over twenty-five years,” members said.
“In their 'Celtic Christmas' program, the Ladies put their signature mark on classic carols such as 'O Come All Ye Faithful' and 'Silent Night,' in arrangements that highlight the group’s unique Celtic instrumentation, beautiful harmonies, and spectacular stepdancing,” they added.

Hailed by The New York Times as “passionate, tender and rambunctious,” Cherish The Ladies have released two critically acclaimed holiday albums, On Christmas Night and A Star In The East.
