Columbia Cougars Saint Patrick's Day 5K Saturday

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - For the second time in as many years, the Columbia Cougars Saint Patrick's Day 5K Road Race is set to provide funds for the high school cross country and track and field programs.

The second annual 5K race benefits the Columbia H.S. Boys and Girls Cross Country and Track and Field programs. According to organizers it's a semi-hilly run through the neighborhood streets of beautiful Maplewood. Race t-shirt will be given to the first 300 registered runners.

The event is scheduled to kick off at 9 a.m. on Dunnell Road near the Maplewood Fire Headquarters. Day of, walk-up registration is available beginning at 7 a.m. and the cost is $30.
