MAPLEWOOD, NJ — We can sure use some laughs in 2020. Apparently, Tessa Elle Goldstein of Maplewood thinks so, too. She recently won first place in a townwide photography contest run by the Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture.

Her photo, "Laughter is the best medicine," depicts three friends expressing mirth amid fallen leaves.

The Township of Maplewood also announced send prize winner Joy Yagid and third prize winner Claire Sinclair. Their photos are "A wintry view from the Oakland Rd Bridge" and "Tuscan Art Camp" respectively.
