Four Locals to Appear in 'Bring it On, The Musical'
Featuring over than forty teens from all over northern NJ, the cast includes Naomi Fisch, Kara Handelman, Olivia Pryor, and Lucy Schmidt.

The first ever community theater production of “Bring It On! The Musical” presented by Pebble Players, will begin this weekend. Naomi Fisch, Kara Handelman, Olivia Pryor, and Lucy Schmidt of South Orange will be performing.
High school kids from all over New Jersey came in for the auditions, including kids from two of the top area gyms and four locals are among. Those selected for the musical include some Northern New Jersey’s most talented and inspiring actors are taking to the stage.
“With this level of talent featured, and an incredible set of dance and gymnastic numbers, Bring It On! seats are moving faster than any show we’ve performed!” said Jayne Myers, the director of this Pebble Players production. “We are literally going to flip you out! This show is filled with incredible music and gymnastics, it will be hard to remain in your seats.”

The play will show for two weekends; the first showings will take place on Nov. Friday 7 & Saturday 8 at 7:30 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 9. The same sequence will occur the following weekend on the 14, 15 and 16.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10for children when purchased in advance at this site. Prices will go up by $5 at the door. Tickets for several dates have already sold out.

Bring It On! The Musical hit Broadway in 2012 with an original story by Tony Award winner Jeff Whitty (Avenue Q), music and lyrics by Tony Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights), music by Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning composer Tom Kitt (Next to Normal) and lyrics by Amanda Green (High Fidelity).
Pebble Players is the youth performance subsidiary of Stony Hill Players, Summit’s treasured community theater and opera company, which has been bringing great performances to Northern New jersey since 1947. They are located at the Oakes Center, located at 120 Morris Ave in Summit.
