Maplecrest Branch of Maplewood Post Office Reopens
The itty bitty brick post office is open after more than a week of plumbing repairs.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ – Just in time to send a card to your Valentine, full service and normal business hours have resumed at the Maplecrest Station Post Office, a small brick building at 1767 Springfield Ave. in Maplewood. Service was temporarily suspended at the leased postal facility since Jan. 16 for repairs to the plumbing.
The post office is open from Monday through Friday. Keep in mind, though, that the retail counter closes for 45 minutes in the middle of each day.
Retail business hours at the Maplecrest Station are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. Lobby hours for Post Office Box access are Monday-Friday 8:15 a.m. – 4 p.m.
