Maplewood Avenue Paver Upgrades Start Monday
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed in two weeks.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Motorists are being advised to plan for detours because starting on Monday the Township of Maplewood will be continuing the upgrade of the Maplewood Avenue pavers.
Work will begin by replacing the pavers at Ricalton Square and will take one to two weeks subject to weather conditions, according to officials. When necessary, traffic moving in the north bound lane of Maplewood Avenue will be diverted through the parking area behind Ricalton Square to accommodate the work.
Once complete, the contractor will commence work on the north side of Durand Road.
During this process, pedestrian access will be maintained, officials said.
