  • An ordinance to establish a 2 percent medical marijuana transfer tax. According to Cannabis Dispensary Magazine, "Municipalities may adopt ordinances to impost a 'transfer tax,' not to exceed 2 percent of the medical cannabis price, on medical cannabis sales made at local dispensaries." Cities like Atlantic City and Paterson have also considered the tax.
  • A proclamation for South Orange and Maplewood for Women's History Month, acknowledging various achievements and injustices, such as medical research being held back in treating women, particularly women of color.
  • A $300,000 bond ordinance to add improvements to the pool, in addition to the $1.6 million bond already approved last year.
