The filming will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8 at The Woodland, 60 Woodland Road in Maplewood. Extras will be seen in the background of the episode, and some may get the chance to interact on camera with the show’s judges and host, Richard Curtis from “Live with Kelly.”

According to the event notice, the first 100 extras will be paid $25. Everyone after that will be allowed to participate (until capacity is reached), but will not be paid.

In addition:

  • “You must ‘look the part.’ Please wear nice clothing, as you would to church or to a nice dinner.
  • “You can bring family members and friends. The Amazing Taste is a family show. We would love to see mothers and daughters together… dads and grandmas… brothers and sisters… and best friends.”
  • “You all must be there for the full 2 hours. Children must be age 16 and up.”
  • “Each person (or pair of people) must bring one very nice covered dish. Literally, just the dish. Nothing inside. No food. As our cameras glide through the “extras,” we want to see friendly, excited people… each with a nice, beautiful, covered dish. These can be china, silver, ceramic, Corning Ware, etc. They must be nice. They must be covered. This is essential to being allowed into the event.”

Interested participants must RSVP to therecipecasting@gmail.com

In the email, put full names of all attending, your phone number and email address. Also in the RSVP email, please write “Dave Noll Guest” in the subject heading and in the email body.
