Maplewood Cub Scouts Celebrate 80th Anniversary

The wolf is the symbol of the Cub Scouts and Maplewood Cub Scout Pack 3 is honored to be celebrating the 80th anniversary of its first Charter in 1933 by continuing to serve the youth of Maplewood and South Orange!   

Our anniversary will culminate in an 80th Anniversary Breakfast on November 16, 2013 at the Prospect Presbyterian Church where we will honor the past and look forward to the future.   All Pack youth, adult, leaders and alumni are encouraged to attend this great event and tickets may be purchased by contacting MaplewoodPack3@gmail.com.     

Maplewood Cub Scout Pack 3 is dedicated to helping young boys create and achieve goals, instilling curiosity and become leaders while having fun with a purpose. Throughout their Cub Scout experience, youth from 1st grade to 5th grade learn about the world we live in: nature, camping, team building, just to name a few.

They also build and run Pinewood Derby cars and model rockets.  We are reaching out to former Scouts who shared in our rich history.  If you were a  member of Maplewood Pack 3 scout please consider uploading your name, years in the Pack, a picture and approximate year of the picture to Pack 3's 80th anniversary Facebook page:   https://www.facebook.com/MaplewoodPack3.
