Maplewood French Restaurant Verjus To Close In October: Report

The restaurant at the corner of Springfield Avenue and Rutgers Street will close at the end of October, NJ Monthly reported.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Verjus, well reviewed French restaurant on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, will close its doors next month after 19 years, New Jersey Monthly reported Wednesday.

The magazine quoted Charles Tutino and wife Jane Witkin as saying they will continue through the end of October, then close because they are retiring. Read more here.
