Maplewood Golf Event Benefits Children in Need
The Birthday Box, a non-profit organization that brings birthday joy to kids in need, is holding a Golf Event at Maplewood Country Club on Oct. 8.

The Birthday Box, in partnership with the Jewish Renaissance Foundation, will be holding its inaugural Golf Event at the Maplewood Country Club on Oct. 8.
The event gives NJ’s golf enthusiasts and aspiring players the opportunity to play at a member-only club while also doing good as the proceeds from the event will go directly to The Birthday Box, a non-profit organization that brings birthday joy to kids in need.
“Founded in 2010 by two Westfield-NJ moms who want to help children in their community, locally and around the country, The Birthday Box works to ensure that all children – regardless of their families’ financial status – get to enjoy their special day by receiving a box with all the items needed for a fun celebration, including cake, candles, party decoration and a wrapped gift,” the organization said.
