Maplewood Middle School To Perform 'Singing' Musical

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood Middle School will perform "Singin' in the Rain Jr.," streamed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this weekend.
This adaptation from the "World's most celebrated movie musical" includes "hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards make Singin' in the Rain Jr. a guaranteed good time for performers and audience members alike," according to a description.
In the original movie musical, a cast of characters adapts to the transition in Hollywood from silent films to "talkies."

The musical will be released at the following times:
Friday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 9 at 2 p.m.

Tickets to stream the show are $15 for a single ticket, $20 for a double ticket, and $35 for a family of three or more. Get tickets here.
The screenplay is by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed. It's based on the classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Inc.
