Progressive Theater shares the magic of theater
Maplewood Townhall, November 18, 2019 – Maplewood, NJ proclaimed December 3, 2019 GivingTuesday - Maplewood, NJ Day of Giving.
GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners—charities, families, businesses, and individuals—to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. In just seven years, GivingTuesday has radically changed how we think about generosity and showed just how much power communities everywhere have to create change. Millions of people around the world have participated in the movement.
Gregory Omar Osborne, the founder of Progressive Theater, stated, “Progressive Theater joined the GivingTuesday campaign because we believe in creating opportunities on and off stage. Being able to share the magic of theater with communities that have limited access is a huge goal for Progressive Theater. We want to raise $25,000.00 to give lower Essex County a FREE night if theater for our 2020 Season. The generosity of givers on and leading up to GivingTuesday will allow our company to fulfill its mission.”
