Maplewood To Participate In Virtual Menorah Lighting

The event will take place Thursday night, the first night of the Jewish holiday. There will also be one at Dickens Village a week later.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — As with many holiday activities amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Hanukkah menorah lighting in Maplewood will be held virtually this year.

The event will be held Thursday night, the first night of Hannukah this year.

  • Thursday, Dec. 10
  • 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Springfield Avenue Gazebo, 1662 Springfield Ave.

The Maplewood Department of Community Services has invited the public to attend virtually. Rabbi David Vaisberg will do the honors.
