Maplewood Police Given Traffic Safety Award

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Last month members of the Maplewood Police Department Traffic Bureau received traffic safety awards from both AAA Northeast at the AAA Community Traffic Safety Awards Luncheon and EZ Ride at the 2019 Annual Recognition Luncheon.

"It was truly an honor to receive these awards from both of these outstanding organizations who are committed to partnering with MPD in protecting our residents and visitors alike," the Maplewood Police said in a statement.

The department also thanked Mayor Vic DeLuca and Deputy Mayor Frank McGehee and the rest of the Township Committee as well as Chief James DeVaul and Deputy Chief Albert Sally for fully supporting the efforts in changing the culture of traffic within the Township.
