Maplewood Police Holding Open House, Bike Rodeo

Spend some time exploring first responder vehicles and tour the police department Saturday.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Maplewood Police Department are offering residents to see their facilities without being cuffed to a D-ring on Saturday as they are holding an open house and bike rodeo.

The program is set to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The rodeo is scheduled to from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the building tour from 11 a.m. to noon. Then, from noon to 2 p.m. There will also be first responder vehicles to explore including a fire truck, squad cars and an ambulance.

There will also be a free raffle for two used (mechanically certified) TREK bicycles.

The event is being held in the rear parking lot of the Maplewood Police Department located at 1618 Springfield Ave.
