Maplewood Town Hall Delays Opening Until 11 a.m.
Public schools remain closed, midterm exams rescheduled; jitney service cancelled

Maplewood Town Hall will reopen at 11 a.m. following a winter storm that fell short of original projections, but dumped up to eight inches of snow on North Jersey.
South Orange-Maplewood School District said it would remain closed today and that all classes are cancelled. A board of education meeting originally scheduled for Monday was postponed until Feb. 2.
Columbia High School Principal Elizabeth Aaron sent a letter to parents explaining that midterm exams for Period’s 5, 8 and 9 have been rescheduled for Friday Jan. 30th.

Maplewood Jitney Service was cancelled for today.
Recycling collection scheduled for yesterday has been rescheduled for next scheduled pickup on Feb. 9.
