FT- Building and Grounds Foreperson Maplewood Township is seeking a Building and Grounds Foreperson. The position specifically involves work within the Department of Public Works. Under direction, supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing the physical structure of buildings and utility systems, and in maintaining buildings in a clean, orderly condition; performs other related duties. This is a “Working Foreperson” position, which is defined as not only overseeing and coordinating but performing the duties of the division in conjunction with staff. REQUIREMENTSMust be available to work for prolonged periods and/or overtime during emergencies such as snowstorms and other weather related events and remain on the job until all repairs have been made.Must be able to drive and operate snow plowing equipment. EXPERIENCE:Five (5) years of experience in work involving the construction and maintenance of buildings, two (2) years of which shall have been in a supervisory nature. LICENSE:Appointees must possess a Class “B” Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brake Endorsement. Duties and responsibilities are included in the attached job description. (see below) Salary Range for this position is $78,000 - $93,000Experience with Spatial Data Logic and Edmunds software a plus.
