Maplewood's Affordable Housing List Is Open For Applications

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Are you interested in renting affordable housing in Maplewood? People have until Friday, Jan. 19 to submit a preliminary application that will get them included in a random lottery number drawing for affordable housing in the township, according to a recent municipal announcement.
According to township officials, Maplewood maintains a single affordable housing waiting list for existing and future rental units governed by the state’s affordable housing regulations. This list is used to lease low and moderate-income units at:
- Avalon Maplewoood
- Boyden Avenue Apartments
- Maplewood Crossing
- Station House at Maplewood
- 1611 Springfield
- 255 Tuscan

To submit a preliminary application, people can visit: www.AffordableHomesNewJersey.com. Those without an email address can call 609-664-2769, ext. 5.
People who have already submitted a pre-application with CGP&H and have joined the Maplewood waiting list do not need to submit another pre-application, town officials stated.
