Officer Mike Wants Your Coats, Maplewood
The fundraiser will help keep kids warm this winter.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Retired Maplewood Officer Mike Morrison is asking that residents donate winter wear to help their neighbors as part of his coat drive fundraiser. Donations are being accepted through Thursday, Nov. 16.
Morrison is looking to collect new or gently used coats, gloves, hats, and scarves to one of the five drop off locations list below.
- Maplewood Police Headquarters - 1618 Springfield Ave.
- Columbia High School - 17 Parker Ave.
- Maplewood Town Hall - 576 Valley Street
- De Hart Community Center - 120 Burnett Ave.
- Gleason Cleaners - 7 West Parker Ave.
- Maplewood Fire Department - 105 Dunnell Road
Adult and youth sizes are accepted. The items will be collected until Thursday and distributed to the youth in the community at Columbia High School's Main Gym. According to organizers, monetary donations are also being accepted.
