Parker Ave. Area Suffers Several Break-Ins

Several households in and around Parker Avenue were the target of break-ins to cars and garages last week, with a laptop and two bicycles stolen, said Capt. John Perna of the Maplewood Police Department.

In the early morning of May 21, someone stole a laptop from an unlocked car on Garfield Place, Perna said. Also, someone broke into locked garages on Ball Place and Parker Avenue, stealing a bicycle from each garage.

Maplewood detectives are investigating the thefts, Perna said.
