Annual golf fundraiser for Columbia High School gets off to a great start.

Around 100 golfers teed off at the Maplewood Country Club this morning as part of the 15th Annual Columbia High School Cougars Booster Golf Classic. The event is the primary fundraiser for the Boosters, which supports extracurricular activities, including the athletic program, at CHS each year.

Organizers Hank Zona and Al Farah were on hand as the golfers enjoyed a tasty brunch and took place in a putting contest. Later in the day, golfers will square off against putting robots made by the  CHS Robotics Team and will enjoy cocktails, dinner, an auction and live entertainment from CHS musicians and singers.
