Roadwork Slated For Boyden Avenue In Maplewood All Week

Residents are encouraged to avoid parking or driving in the area.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Road work was set to begin this past Wednesday on Boyden Avenue in Maplewood, and continue for "approximately five to six days, weather pending," according to the city.

The road work involves milling and paving, and will run from Irvington Avenue to Springfield Avenue.

Parking will be prohibited on that stretch, during that time.

"Vehicular access will only be reopened between phases once the site has been made safe," the city said. "Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and plan an alternate route."
