Sen. Sweeny Presents $10k Check to Community Food Bank of NJ
The check was donated right before Christmas Eve, in anticipation of preparation for the holiday season.

Senate President Steve Sweeney presented a check in the amount of $10,000 to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey to support their efforts to feed the hungry this Holiday Season.
“The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is vital to so many families throughout the year, but takes on added importance during this time of year. While so many of us are enjoying time with our families and counting our blessings, they are ensuring that our most vulnerable residents can enjoy a meal through their many services and programs,” said Sweeney.
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America, distributes food, provides education and training, develops programs to help hungry people throughout the state, and engages all sectors of society in this mission.
