Â
The South Orange - Maplewood School District (SOMSD) will receive the same amount of state aid for the 2013-14 year as it received this year, according to figures the state released today on aid across New Jersey.

"We built the Superintendent’s proposed budget on the assumption that state aid would remain at the same level as 2012-2013," said SOMSD Superintendent Brian Osborne.  "Given flat state aid figures, we plan to present an unchanged proposed budget to the Board of Education for continued discussion on Monday, March 4."
More budget information can be found on the district's website.
