Studio B Holds Pride Week Friday Story Slam

As part of the North Jersey Pride Weekend Studio B will be hosting a themed story slam on Friday, June 7, 8 p.m., at the Burgdorff Center in Maplewood. The theme is "I'm Coming Out!"

Organizers explain that those who wish to participate by reading aloud keep in mind the following:

Bring your best five-minute tale of ANY coming out. Gay? Debutante? Undercover agent? All secrets revealed.

We will choose ten names out of a hat to read.

Feel free to come out and just listen too.

Three literary agents will listen chuckle tear or snooze - depending on delivery.

At the end of the night a winner will be announced. Bragging rights will be claimed.

$10 (pay at door), 21 y.o. and over
