Sunny Skies for Girls' Night Out on Thursday

The forecast is looking splendid for the 2013 Maplewood Village Girl’s Night Out on Thursday, June 20 starting at 6 p.m.

Maplewood Village Alliance and presenting sponsor Anthony Garubo Salon & Day Spa will host this fun night of shopping, dining, cocktails and socializing.

Remember to bring your gently used prom and formal dresses to donate to Catherine’s Closet, a non-profit organization providing prom dresses to teens in need. Drop off dresses at Words Bookstore, Alchemy Hour and Geralyn's Art Studio now, or at the registration table on the night of Girls Night Out. The drive is being spearheaded by Columbia High School students.

Get a summer makeover from Anthony Garubo Salon colorists and designers with makeup and the latest styles from Alchemy Hour Boutique. Guests are invited to vote for a favorite "look" and chance to win their very own summer makeover. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be offered.

In addition, over 25 participating merchants will offer everything from special tastings, raffles, trunk shows, signature cocktails, dinner and drink specials, promotional discounts and more. 

The first 350 guests will receive a complimentary reusable Swag Bag (courtesy of Intercounty Mortgage Corp.) filled with product samples from, gift cards and other special goodies.  Visit the shops and restaurants for more swag, treats, signature drinks, wine tastings and more. 

Registration for the Swag Bag giveaway will be held on the night of the event outside of Highland Place/Crane’s (5 Highland Place) starting at 6 PM. Bags are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. (And they go quickly!)
