Tap into Your Inner Builder Wednesday in Maplewood

Here are a few things happening in town today.

Maplewood will offer free Adult Health Screenings tomorrow from 3:30 - 5 p.m. at the Hilton Branch Library, 1688 Springfield Ave., staffed by nurses from the Maplewood Health Department. Medication, weight & health counseling, Blood Pressure Screening, Carotid Bruit Screening. For an appointment, call (973) 762-8120 x4300. Drop-ins are also welcome. 

Meanwhile, at the Maplewood Memorial Library Main Branch, teens can participate in Architectural Model-Making from 4:00- 5:30 pm. Using cardboard and hot glue students will design and build scale sketch models of buildings. Register in the Teen Zone. 

Enjoy Dinosaur Facts Vs. Fiction! at the Turtle Back Zoo between 5 and 9 p.m.

Now that the weather is better, go for a hike at South Mountain Reservation.
