National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Delta Pi Chapter presented its annual TEACH-A-RAMA on September 29, 2018

The Delta Pi Chapter held it annual Teach-A-Rama and Youth Town Hall meeting at

the Mount Vernon Middle School in Newark, New Jersey.

The gathering showcased a panel discussion entitled "Having Our Say" wherewith,

the young people asked questions about gun violence, school safety, gang violence

and police brutality. A panel of community activists, mayors, school superintendents,

and police officers were invited to express their views, concerns and answer questions

from the youth.

Also, a host of workshops and a medical fair was attended by parents, teachers and senior

citizens. Medical students from Seton Hall University were on hand to answer questions

and take blood pressures.
