The Turtle Back Zoo in Essex County will host a "Howl-O-Ween" celebration on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 4 to 8 p.m., at 560 Northfield Avenue in West Orange.According to a release, the event will feature a "safe and controlled atmosphere" for local kids to dress in costume and trick-or-treat at zoo stations set up with candy. Additional attractions include a "not-so-scary train ride."The Turtle Back Zoo will be closed the day of the event from 2:30 to 4 p.m. to prepare.
